Sign Customiser has a new order safeguard: **Block emojis**. When you select it, customers cannot add a design to the cart if the sign text has an emoji or an emoji-style symbol. A message shows each emoji, so that the customer knows which characters to remove. The setting is off by default. It applies to all sign types and all pricing models.

## What’s Changed

- **New Block emojis setting**The setting is in **General Settings → Order safeguards**. It is off until you select it.
- **Message for customers**When the sign text has an emoji, the customiser disables the add-to-cart button. It also disables Buy it now if your store shows that button. It shows the message “Emojis are not supported on this sign: ❤️. Remove them to continue.” with the emojis that it found.
- **Editable message**To change or translate the message, go to **Settings → Languages** and edit **Emojis not allowed**. Keep `{characters}` where the emojis must show.
- **Emoji-style symbols**The setting blocks emojis such as 😀, flags and keycaps. It also blocks the emoji form of symbols, such as ❤️ and ☀️, and decorative symbols, such as ♡ ☆ ✓. The font that the customer selects does not change the result.
- **Letters and icons**Letters in all languages, numbers, ordinary punctuation and currency signs are permitted. © ® ™ and arrows are permitted without the emoji form. Icons from your icon set are not blocked.
- **All sign text**The check includes the sign text, lightbox face text and text template fields. The customiser does the check again when the customer adds the design to the cart.
- **No font message for an emoji**For an emoji, customers see the emoji message, not a message that tells them to select a different font. **Allow unsupported font characters** does not permit emojis.
