# Icons in Sign Designs

The Icons feature allows you to upload SVG graphics that customers can add to their sign designs. These icons can be used alongside text to create personalised and visually engaging signs. This guide explains how to upload icons and how customers can access them.

The **Icons** feature allows you to upload SVG graphics that customers can add to their sign designs. These icons can be used alongside text to create personalised and visually engaging signs.

This guide explains how to upload icons and how customers can access them.

## **Accessing the Icons Settings**

1.  Go to the **Sign Customiser** Admin:

    -   **Universal subscribers**: Go to **Home** in your account.

    -   **Shopify users**: Navigate to Shopify admin → Apps and select **Sign Customiser**.

2.  Click on **Customisers** in the menu.

3.  Select the **customiser** you want to edit.

4.  From the left-hand menu, go to **Sign Components** → **Icons**.

## Step 1: Configure the icon Section

In the **Icons** section, configure the following settings:

-   **Title** _(optional)_ – The heading displayed above the icon options on your storefront.

-   **Description** _(optional)_ – Text displayed below the title.

-   **Icon button label** – Button label on the right-hand side of the **text input field**.

-   **Pricing** – Select the pricing model to calculate the cost of your icons.

## Step 2: Add Icons

1.  Still in the **Icons** section, click **Add Icon**.

2.  Under **Details**, enter:

    -   **Name** - The name of your icon.

    -   **Min height** - The minimum height your icon should be (_only in Advanced Model_).

3.  Click **Add file** to upload an SVG, or click **Choose from our library** to select an icon from our library.

4.  Click **Save**.

## Where Can Customers Find Icons?

Customers can access your icons by clicking the **smiling emoji icon** located on the right-hand side of the **text input field**. This opens the icon library below where they can browse and add icons to their sign designs.

## Why Do My Icons Look Different?

For icons to be compatible with the app, they must use **fill** attributes rather than **stroke** attributes. If an uploaded SVG uses stroke attributes, the app will attempt to convert them to fill attributes, which may alter how the icon will look.
