Sign Customiser allows you to choose your preferred measurement units for entering product specifications in the admin area. You can switch between metric (centimetres/kilograms) and imperial (inches/pounds) units based on your preference. This setting affects only how you input measurements in the admin area and does not change how units are displayed to customers on your storefront.
How to Configure Your Measurement Units
Follow these steps to change your measurement unit preferences:
Log into your Sign Customiser admin area Navigate to your admin login page and enter your credentials.
Navigate to Tools & Settings From the home page dashboard, locate and click on "Tools & Settings".
Access Store Configuration Click on "Store Configuration" from the available options.
Select your preferred units Choose your desired measurement units:
For dimensions: Centimeters (cm) or Inches (in)
For weight: Kilograms (kg) or Pounds (lb)
Save your changes Click the "Save" button to apply your new unit preferences.
Your selected units will now be used throughout the admin area when entering or editing product measurements.
Important Considerations
Conversion and Precision Warning
When using inches or pounds, we convert and store your values as centimetres or kilograms respectively. This conversion may cause small rounding differences. For the most precise measurements and weights, we recommend using centimetres and kilograms directly.
Customer-Facing Display
Remember that changing these settings affects only your admin experience. The units displayed to customers on your storefront remain unchanged and are controlled by separate storefront configuration settings.
