Clears the letter part's default_upload_image slot and deletes the stored file, returning a receipt naming what was removed and the letter part as it now stands. Requires customisers:write and an Idempotency-Key.

Delete a letter part default upload image

Clears the letter part's `default_upload_image` slot and deletes the stored file, returning a receipt naming what was removed and the letter part as it now stands. Requires `customisers:write` and an `Idempotency-Key`. Deleting from a slot that holds no image answers 404. This is also how a part that carries the image becomes deletable: a declared part holding a default upload image refuses its own delete with `file_bearing`, and clearing the slot here releases that. The delete clears the customiser's cached storefront configuration and runs the advisory language sync, and never regenerates Shopify products, product images, or the product cache.

Delete a letter part default upload image

Overview

Deleting from a slot that holds no image answers 404. This is also how a part that carries the image becomes deletable: a declared part holding a default upload image refuses its own delete with file_bearing, and clearing the slot here releases that. The delete clears the customiser's cached storefront configuration and runs the advisory language sync, and never regenerates Shopify products, product images, or the product cache.
