The sign preview has new controls. The preview buttons now use the same dark tile, and each group of buttons stays in its own corner. Backgrounds now show in one tray. This change applies to the preview on every Store. You do not need to change any settings.
What’s Changed
- One control style - The tool buttons, Share my design and Upload Background use the same dark tile with white icons. The tile does not change with your colour scheme.
- Your accent colour - Your Store’s secondary colour shows the active button, the selected background and the hint icon.
- Fixed corners - On desktop, the tools stay at the bottom left. Share my design, Upload Background and the backgrounds stay at the bottom right. When a button is not available, the other buttons do not move.
- A plain-text hint - The prompt to select a word is now text with an icon. It does not look like a button.
- One background tray - Backgrounds show as small tiles in one strip. The customer’s own photo comes first, with a remove button. The other backgrounds show at full strength, and customers can compare them.
- Phone layout - On a phone, the Background button in the tool rail opens the tray next to it. The tray shows only when the customer asks for it. It replaces the old panel at the top of the preview. The tray stays open after a customer selects a background, and it closes when the customer taps outside it.
- No empty tray - With one background and no upload, the preview shows no tray. With one background and upload allowed, desktop shows only Upload Background until the customer adds a photo.
- Control bar layout - If your customiser uses the bottom control bar, its buttons use the same tiles. Its background popover keeps your Theme Colors “Control Bars” colours.
- Lightbox signs - On desktop, the lightbox 3D control bar does not change. Its background popover shows the new background tiles.
- Custom CSS - The preview controls have a new structure. If you use custom CSS on the preview controls, check it after this change.
