Sign Customiser

Export your Sign Customiser orders as a CSV spreadsheet delivered to your email, with preset or custom date ranges and full customisation details.

Last updated:

Sign Customiser lets you export your orders as a CSV spreadsheet, delivered directly to the email address on your account. The export includes every customisation detail — fonts, colours, sizes, extras, and more — so you have a complete picture of what your customers ordered.

Shopify’s built-in export only gives you product names. This export gives you the full sign specification for every order.

Note: Only V2 orders (placed after 15 July 2025) are included in the export. Orders placed before this date are not included.

How to export your orders

  1. Open Sign Customiser in your Shopify admin and click Orders from the home menu.

  2. Scroll down to the Email order export card.

  3. Choose a date range — either pick one of the quick presets or select a custom range using the calendar.

  4. Click Email order export.

  5. The export runs in the background. You’ll receive the CSV as an email attachment within 30 minutes.

Date range options

The quick range buttons let you export without touching the calendar:

  • Last 30 days / Last 90 days — rolling window from today

  • This month — from the 1st of the current month to today

  • Year to date — from 1 January to today

  • Q1 / Q2 / Q3 / Q4 — individual calendar quarters for the current year

  • Full year — the entire current calendar year

  • All — every V2 order on your account

For anything else, use the Custom range calendar to pick a start and end date.

What’s in the CSV

Each row in the CSV represents one option or detail of an order line item. A single order with multiple customisation choices will span several rows, all sharing the same order number.

The columns cover three areas:

Order details

  • Order number, date, customer email

  • Order total, currency, shipping line

  • External order ID (e.g. your Shopify order ID)

Line item details

  • Line item title, unit price, total price, quantity

  • Customiser ID that generated the line item

Customisation details

  • Font selection (ID and label)

  • Text content (line and item)

  • Colour selections for each sign part — face, side, trim, halo, back, top, bottom, left, right, and tube colours

  • Option group, key, label, and value for extras, sizes, materials, supports, and any other selected options

  • Raw JSON value for programmatic processing

Tip: Open the CSV in Google Sheets or Excel and filter by the order_number column to view all details for a specific order.
