Squarespace Integration

Tip: The customiser embeds the same way on Squarespace as on any website. For sizing, display options, and how to take orders, see Embed the customiser on any website. The steps below cover the Squarespace-specific parts.
What We Currently Support in Squarespace
Squarespace supports these features:

iFrame embed (requires the Squarespace Core, Plus, or Advanced plan; see Embed the customiser on any website)

Add to Cart (requires custom implementation)

Order Integration (no built-in Squarespace integration; orders need a custom integration that sends them through the Sign Customiser API)

Manufacturer Emails (no built-in Squarespace support; a custom integration that sends orders through the Sign Customiser API triggers them)
How to Integrate Sign Customiser in Squarespace
To show the customiser on your Squarespace site, your Store must have one of these:
an active subscription
a 7-day free trial with a payment method added

Steps to Integrate

Log in to your Sign Customiser account.

Create your customiser.

Click Customisers in the sidebar.

Find your customiser in the list. Write down the number in the Customiser ID column. You need this number for the embed code.
You can also find the ID on the Overview page of the customiser. Open the customiser. The ID label is below the customiser name.
Sales channel setup on the Overview page does not list Squarespace. You do not need it. The iframe code in the next section works without a sales channel. For more help, see Find your Sign Customiser ID.
Embedding Sign Customiser in Squarespace
To add an iframe to a Code block, your Squarespace site must be on the Core, Plus, or Advanced plan.

Log in to your Squarespace account.

Edit the page or post where you want to show the customiser.

Hover over the section where you want the customiser. If the page has no section, click Add Section and choose a section.

Click Add block or +, then click Code.

Click the pencil icon on the block to open the block editor.

Set the Mode menu to HTML.

Paste this code into the text field. Replace YOUR_CUSTOMISER_ID with the ID of your customiser:
