Retrieve generated sign products not purchased

Every generated sign product carries the sign-customiser-generated tag. Purchased products also carry the npc_ordered tag. Combine those tags in Shopify’s product search to find generated products that have not been purchased.

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin and open Products.

  2. Open the product search or filter field.

  3. Enter tag:sign-customiser-generated NOT tag:npc_ordered.

  4. Shopify now lists generated sign products that do not have the purchased-product tag.

Filter one customiser

Add its sc-customiser-ID tag to the search. You can also open the managed collection titled with that customiser’s name before reviewing products.

Do not filter only on product type Custom Neon. That type now identifies neon signs only. Acrylic, metal, stencil, wood, aluminium, braille, wood-frame and lightbox products use their own category-specific types.
