Find Sign Makers Pro: price, benefits and the website link

Find Sign Makers is our global directory of sign manufacturers at findsignmakers.com. A listing in the directory is free. Find Sign Makers Pro is an optional paid level for a publicly verified profile.

There are two ways to get Pro. It is included with an active Sign Customiser subscription. Or you buy it on its own for USD 100 per year.

This article gives both routes, the benefits, the website link, how to remove a link, and the rules for renewal and cancellation.

Route 1: included with a Sign Customiser subscription

Find Sign Makers Pro is included with an active paid Sign Customiser subscription when your listing is linked and publicly verified. A trial or the Development plan does not include it. Pro ends when the subscription ends or the listing is unlinked.

How the link is made

1. The Store owner asks to link your listing. In the Universal admin, the owner opens Your Company, then Find Sign Makers. In the Shopify admin, the owner opens our app. On the home page, the owner selects Tools & Settings, then Find Sign Makers Pro. The page title is Find Sign Makers Pro. The owner selects Link a listing and chooses your listing.

2. We send a one-time link to the email address on your listing. The link expires after 7 days.

3. Accept that link while you are signed in to your Find Sign Makers account.

This picture shows the page where the Store owner starts step 1. A test Store shows an extra note. A Store on a paid plan does not show that note.

A matching email address, a matching domain or a matching company name never makes a link. Only a claimed listing can be linked. One listing is linked for each Sign Customiser Company.

What an included member will see

After the link starts, your dashboard gives the name of the Store that your Pro comes from. It shows no price and no payment button. There is nothing to buy and nothing to pay on Find Sign Makers. Pro stays on while that subscription is active.

The merchant manages the subscription at web.signcustomiser.com/app/subscription.

A listing whose linked Store includes Pro cannot buy Pro. The dashboard does not show the Upgrade to Pro button for it.

If you already paid for Pro and your Store then links

Your paid year runs to its end date. We set your paid Pro subscription to stop on that date. There is no refund. Pro then continues with the Sign Customiser subscription.

How to remove the link

The manufacturer or the Store owner can remove the link at any time. Pro from that link stops at once.

Remove the link as the manufacturer

1. Sign in at findsignmakers.com.

2. Open your dashboard. Find Linked Sign Customiser store on the dashboard home page.

3. Select Remove the link.

4. Read the message. Select Remove the link again to confirm. To stop, select Keep the link.

The panel then shows The link is removed and says that your listing is no longer linked to the Store. The Store must ask again before your listing can be linked back.

Remove the link as the Store owner

1. In the Universal admin, open Your Company, then Find Sign Makers. In the Shopify admin, open our app. On the home page, select Tools & Settings, then Find Sign Makers Pro.

2. Select Remove link.

3. In the Remove the Find Sign Makers link? window, select Remove link. To stop, select Cancel.

In the Universal admin, only the Store owner or a Company owner sees Remove link. In the Shopify admin, anyone who opens the app for the Store sees Remove link. The manufacturer must agree again to link the listing back.

Route 2: buy Pro on its own

Find Sign Makers Pro costs USD 100 per year. Stripe collects your payment.

What you need before you buy

You must have a publicly verified profile before you can buy or receive Pro. A publicly verified profile has these two things:

• A verification record. The record is the evidence that you sent to us, the method that we used and the date.

• A profile completeness score of 90 or more.

If your profile is not publicly verified, the upgrade panel shows the missing fields. It does not show the Upgrade to Pro button. Read the verification criteria.

How to buy Pro

1. Sign in at findsignmakers.com.

2. Open your dashboard. The Pro panel is at the top of the dashboard home page.

3. Select Upgrade to Pro. We send you to the Stripe checkout page.

4. Pay with your card. Stripe collects your payment. Find Sign Makers does not get your card details.

The Billing page in the dashboard navigation shows the same status.

Renewal

Your subscription renews each year. The Billing page in your dashboard shows your renewal date.

Change your card, read your invoices or cancel

Open the Billing page in your Find Sign Makers dashboard. Select Manage billing. The Stripe billing portal for Find Sign Makers opens. In the portal you can do these three things:

• Read your invoices.

• Change the card that you pay with.

• Cancel your subscription.

Cancellation starts at the end of the year that you paid for. Your Pro benefits continue to that date. Your listing then stays in the directory as a free profile. If your profile has a website address, it continues to show the link to your website. It does not show your project gallery, your email address or your telephone number.

You keep your dashboard, your profile editor and your quote inbox. You keep your Verified badge while your profile stays publicly verified.

This billing portal is for a Pro plan that you paid for. A member whose Pro is only included with a Sign Customiser subscription sees no billing portal.

Refunds

Cancellation does not refund the year that you paid for. There is no automatic refund. To ask about a refund, write to us at findsignmakers.com/contact/.

What Pro gives you

• Your profile is matched first for quote requests. A quote request matches up to three manufacturers. Publicly verified Pro members get up to two of those places first. The other place goes to the next matching manufacturer. That manufacturer can have a free profile or a Pro profile.

• Your profile is put above free profiles in the default listing order on every listing page. On the home page, a reader can also sort by name, A to Z.

• A Pro badge shows on your profile and on your listing rows.

• Your profile shows your project gallery.

• Your profile shows your email address and your telephone number.

The Pro badge and the placement need a publicly verified profile. If your profile loses its public verification, the badge and the placement stop until your profile is publicly verified again. Your gallery, email address and telephone number continue to show while you have Pro. Your website link also stays marked as sponsored.

We aim to show a change to your plan on your public profile within 24 hours.

The website link

Every profile that has a website address shows a Visit website link to that website. This applies to a Pro, verified, claimed or unclaimed profile. The website link is not a Pro benefit.

The link adds our UTM tags, so your website analytics can show visits from Find Sign Makers. If your website address already has a utm_source tag, we do not add our tags.

Because Pro is paid, the link on a Pro profile is marked as sponsored for search engines. The link on a free profile is marked as nofollow.

What a free profile shows

A free profile that has a website address shows a link to that website. A free profile shows no project gallery, no email address and no telephone number. This applies to a verified, claimed or unclaimed profile. In the place of the email address and the telephone number, the profile shows a note with the heading Email and telephone. The note says: “The email address and telephone number show only on Pro profiles. This profile is not on Pro.”

Does a free profile show my website link?

Yes. Every profile shows a link to your website. Because Pro is paid, the link on a Pro profile is marked as sponsored for search engines. The link on a free profile is marked as nofollow. We do not promise a change to your search rank.
