Rename or translate option names (colours, fonts, sizes)
Rename or translate the option names shoppers pick — colours, fonts, sizes, mountings — by editing each option's Label on its own page, not on the Language page.
Last updated:
To rename or translate the options your shoppers pick — colours, fonts, sizes, mountings, and so on — edit each option on its own page. This is separate from the Language page, which changes the customiser’s fixed text (headings, buttons, and messages), not your option names.
For example, to translate your neon tube colours:
-
Open the Sign Customiser admin, go to Customisers, and select your customiser.
-
In the left-hand menu, go to Sign Components → Tube Colours.
-
Click a colour to open it, then change the Label field — for example, Red to Rojo.
-
Save, then repeat for each colour.
”Colour” can mean three different things
Rename a colour option (for example “Red” to “Rojo”): edit the colour’s Label on its option page, as above.
Change the shade shoppers see: edit the same colour’s colour or RGB value on that same page.
Change the customiser’s interface colours (buttons, backgrounds): go to Features → Theme Colours — see the Theme Colour Reference Guide.
Where to rename each type of option
Every option type has its own page. Open the page, click an item, then edit its Label (or Name for icons). All paths start from Customisers → [your customiser]. Which sections appear depends on your sign type.

What the Language page is for
Use Settings → Language for the customiser’s fixed text — the main heading, the add-to-cart button, prompts, notifications, and review-screen labels. It does not contain your option names. For that text, see Translate Words & Phrases?
